Welcome to our blog!

Hello Greystone Gardeners,

We have set up this blog as a way for both our members and surrounding community to see what we have going on! Please make sure you enter your email address in the box on the right side of the home page so that you receive notifications of new posts.

Our plan for this page is to be a means of letting our members know what needs to be done from week to week. The success of this garden depends on all of us taking an active part in making it flourish. Our leader, Barb Linder, will be posting weekly to-do's on here. All you have to do is "comment" on the post to let us know what you will be taking care of. The tasks could range from making sure the Butterfly Garden pond is full to weeding to creating a pest control concoction. We will also be posting the contact information for the individual who will be collecting the harvests from week to week.

Happy Gardening!

  1. It looks like fun and a great learning experience for beginning gardeners like me.

I am also pleased to know the projet is giving the Scouting programs an opportunity to get merit badges.

Perhaps at the end of the growing season you should get together for a celabratory large bowl of vegatable soup from goodies out of your garden.Surely someone will bring home made bread. All the best

    1. Good idea: Maybe the scouts could prepare something and we could all gather in the garden to eat! Scouts, are you reading this?? Barb L.
